WHAT

Our annual exhibit of 75 recent paintings of Louisiana landscapes by local artists made on location out in the open air. 

Many are still available for purchase.  A portion of each sale benefits the Abita Springs Trailhead Museum.

WHO

Abita Springs architect and collector Ron Blitch curated an exceptional exhibition of brand new work, some of it so new that it was still wet, and, even though the event is over, some paintings are still available for purchase. 

It's quite an extensive lineup of artists participating including Auseklis Ozols, John Preble, Mary Monk, Ken Hopel, Billy Solitario, Ben Bensen III, Al Rufty, Jo-Ann Ciolino Adams, Oksana Fogg, Phil Sandusky, Judy Newman, Garth Swanson, Tony Green, Anne Pappas, Ferris Hotard, Julia Rubin, Gus Hoffman, Peggy Hesse, Carol Hallock, Louis Morales, Peg Usner, Renee Mitchell Mithun, and Al Champagne.

WHEN & WHERE

The 2018 exhibition dates are April 6-8 and 13-15.

In 2017, we moved inside the newly renovated Trailhead Museum.  Climate controlled and weatherproof for the first time!
